The semester is coming to an end and so are the events students can attend before the start of winter break. SSU library displays virtual exhibit of collected archives from writer Gaye LeBaron

The SSU library hosted their first digital exhibit entitled “Mapping Our Community: Gaye LeBaron and the Stories of Sonoma County” which features archived works from their Gaye LeBaron Collection. Gaye LeBaron is a well-known columnist at the Press Democrat and is known for her columns and books on the history of Santa Rosa.

Theatre Arts puts on collection of one-acts from playwright Suzan-Lori Parks

The Theatre Arts department put on a collection of one-act plays called “365 Days/ 365 Plays” from esteemed playwright Suzan-Lori Parks, the first African American woman to receive the Pulitzer Prize in Drama. The performances streamed virtually from Nov. 4 to Nov. 7. The 18 plays chosen for these performances reflect on the concepts of beginning, middle and end.

Santa Rosa’s Blind Scream Haunted House returned after two years of being closed due to wildfires and the COVID-19 pandemic. Located at the corner of First and A street in the old Sears Auto Center is where this year’s Blind Scream is making its home. This year's “Witch House” brings to life a Halloween experience that is not for the faint of heart.
